Maplewood Studio Education Experience

A 4 – 5 hour experience at Maplewood Studio based around your requirements. Whether you want to learn more about mixing, recording, compression, EQ, reverb, how to mic up a guitar amp/cab, drum kit, bass amp/cab, vocals etc. You can even bring your own projects to work on.

YouTube artists will find this experience especially useful. When shown a few simple recording set-up methods, your videos will improve instantly!

A Maplewood Studio Educational Experience costs £150, and throughout the session you get one to one studio tuition. Your requirements will be discussed in advance so you will arrive with direction and an end goal.

All files produced and worked on at the studio can be taken home, and your session will also be video blogged for the Maplewood Studio YouTube channel.

Location Recording

If you need the audio recorded for an event, gig or product demonstration, I offer mobile location recording

• All rates are VAT inclusive
• One day’s rate covers the standard hours of 9am – 5pm (different times can be arranged at request).

Mobile Recording

£300/day for recording plus expenses. Travel time is free for journeys under 1 hour either way.

Additional Production

£300/day for mixing & mastering of recorded audio at Maplewood Studio, after the mobile recording session.

All recorded on upto 24 tracks at 48K.

Studio Rates

• All rates are VAT inclusive.
• One day’s rate covers the standard hours of 10am – 7pm (different times can be arranged at request).
• All services are included in the daily rate (time allowing), however, it is best to split recording/mixing & mastering sessions, things always sound different with fresh ears!
• A typical 1-day recording session includes recording, mixing & mastering, a backup of all your session files held at Maplewood Studio for 3 months and a CD copy of the finished tracks for all persons. You are welcome to take the raw project files away with you, but these are typically 5GB per track, as everything is recorded at 96k.

Recording

Monday-Friday: £300 per day.

Saturday & Sunday: £350 per day.

Mixing

£99 per track

Mastering

£50 per track

One track vocals only session – £100

This service covers 3 hours of studio time inc recording, editing, mixing your vocal/vocals and bouncing to CD. You can also take the raw files back with you, they can be supplied on DVD. This is the perfect option for collaboratively working artists who are separated by distance or just don’t have the facility to record high quality vocals. Working this way gives the artist time to get comfy, lets us find the microphone that suits them/the tracks best and just enjoy performing.
